AirBuoyant seeks to provide affordable, cutting edge, and real solutions to your personal flight and hovercraft needs.

The VertiPod Flying Platform is being developed for private and military use, with the VP2 being the latest, flight-ready rendition of this technology. The VP3 and VP4 are on the drawing board now, and are being developed in stages.

Additionally, we have developed and are currently offering the VertiScooter as a low cost ($3999), personal hovercraft, capable of going across land, shallow or packed snow, and still water, and even reasonably up-hill, at speeds of up to 20 mph. This low cost device gives you the thrill of “floating” and is a safe alternative to other power sports vehicles.

AirBuoyant is developing a family of electric aircraft, which will be developed in 2009 and 2010, ready for release to the public by the summer of 2010. These all-electric craft will change the nature of the game in personal flight, offering off-grid charging, and low-risk, extremely low cost operations, along with a quiet ride most people only dream of.

AirBuoyant is also developing novel wind-turbine technology, and has successfully filed patents for the “HyperBlade” system. We have completed work on the novel gearbox the HyperBlade will use, and are excited to be in discussions with multiple, major players in the wind industry regarding licensing.

Finally, AirBuoyant is leading a Google Lunar X PRIZE officially-registered team, with the goal of launching and landing a rover onto the surface of the Moon.
